The following academic scholarships and grants are awarded at the time of admission to the University.

Dominican University offers scholarships based on an individual’s academic abilities. 学术奖学金包括:

Dominican University recognizes academic performance by awarding academic scholarships. These scholarships are not need-based.

体育奖学金

We offer tuition scholarships to talented athletes who participate on our athletic teams. 女队包括篮球队, 越野, 田径, 长曲棍球, 足球, 垒球和排球. 男人’s teams include baseball, basketball, 越野, 田径, golf, 长曲棍球, and 足球.

St. 多米尼克奖学金

Students from Catholic high schools are eligible for this scholarship in addition to the Freshman Scholarship. Students with a grade point average of 3.0-3.49 receive an additional $1,000, and those with a grade point average from 3.5-4.我得到额外的2000美元.

Dominican University provides funds that are based strictly on financial need. These grants are part of our effort to make college education affordable for students. The University offers a limited number of need-based grants to undergraduate students annually. Full-time employees of the Rockland County government are eligible for the following tuition reductions:

  • 研究生: $400 reduction for every three credits taken online or in the classroom

Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. These grants do not have to be repaid.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

This grant is for undergraduate students with exceptional financial needs. An FSEOG also does not have to be paid back.

联邦勤工俭学计划

This program provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial needs, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to your course of study. The wages will be at least the current federal minimum wage. The total Federal Work-Study award depends on when a student applies, 需要的程度, and the funding level of the college.

学费援助计划(TAP)

This program is available to New York State residents, attending full-time (12 credits for Semester students; 9 credits per combined Accel term students,)只. The maximum annual award for TAP is $5000. Award amounts are based on NYS Net Taxable Income. The award year for New York State begins with summer sessions. Since TAP is a grant, it does not have to be repaid.
